Slab transfer car track dismantling at a hot rolling mill
We dismantled the old slab transfer car track at Outokumpu’s hot rolling mill and prepared the base for the new rails, working around the clock during a maintenance outage.
Dismantling of industrial machinery, equipment, boilers, tanks and various metal and steel components for reuse or recycling
We dismantle all kinds of industrial installations, such as machinery, equipment, tanks, boilers, heating plants, pipework, chimneys and various metal and steel components. We also demolish entire buildings, such as factories and plants – you can read more about this on our building demolition page.
We have been working in industrial demolition for almost 40 years and know exactly what needs to be taken into account in industrial environments. We carry out demolition work in line with your objectives and statutory obligations.
We have yet to come across a machine, piece of equipment or structure in industry that we could not dismantle. With almost 40 years of experience, we have delivered a wide range of demolition projects, from routine demolition work to the most challenging maintenance outages in industry. Our experience and expertise show in every project, regardless of its scope or requirements.
Machinery and equipment dismantling covers dismantling machines and equipment either intact for reuse or for scrap, in which case all the dismantled material is sorted and sent for recycling.
Dismantling machinery and equipment intact requires in-depth expertise, because the dismantling team must understand the critical components so that the equipment stays in working order. Where necessary, we dismantle machinery and equipment into parts in such a way that they can be reassembled for reuse. We also carry out intact removal, in which machinery or equipment is disconnected and moved from the site in one piece to its new location.
We dismantle all kinds of tanks, both inside and outside industrial buildings. Our experience covers hundreds of tank dismantling projects in a wide range of environments, such as the forest and chemical industries, ports and refineries.
We always choose the dismantling method project by project, but our first preference is for methods that do not require hot work. We have an excavator-mounted multi-processor with a tank cutter attachment, which allows tanks to be dismantled mechanically, safely and efficiently without the risks associated with hot work. Where necessary, we cut smaller indoor tanks into small pieces with a reciprocating saw so that we can avoid hot work indoors. If hot work is unavoidable, we cut tanks down in a controlled manner using plasma or flame cutting, ensuring safety at every stage of the dismantling.
In industry, the most demanding diamond drilling, sawing and concrete demolition work, such as diamond wire sawing of massive structures, requires specialist expertise and first-class equipment. We are one of the few demolition companies in Finland that can handle not only conventional diamond drilling, sawing and concrete demolition work but also the most challenging industrial demolition projects. Among other things, we carry out wall sawing and precise diamond wire sawing of massive structures, such as entire floors of factory buildings. Alongside diamond sawing and wire sawing, we also offer diamond drilling, milling and concrete breaking.
Our equipment is first-class. We have several demolition robots of different sizes, which enable precise and efficient demolition even in demanding conditions and reduce the physical strain on our workers. When a job calls for heavier equipment than demolition robots, our high-performance machinery fleet can handle anything, whatever the scale of the work.
We handle the onward processing of demolition materials responsibly. We pulverise, clean and crush the demolished concrete so that it can be used as a secondary raw material, for example in earthworks.
Our expert site supervisors ensure a clear division of labour and make sure every worker knows their tasks. With their extensive experience, our site supervisors stay in control even when situations change, and they ensure seamless communication with the client, so that all parties to the project are always up to date on its progress.
Health and safety is the first priority on every demolition project we carry out. We make sure that our staff’s working methods and tools are safe and that the demolition area stays clean and safe for everyone. We carefully isolate the demolition area from production areas so that dust and demolition materials cannot spread into the surrounding spaces.
Industrial demolition requires a versatile, high-performance machinery fleet. We use first-class equipment that makes demolition efficient and safe and reduces the physical strain on our workers. Our fleet is extensive enough to include standby equipment, because in outage work the job cannot wait, even when something unexpectedly breaks down.
Delays are not an option for us, because our clients’ production has to continue without disruption. We schedule the stages of demolition realistically and phase the work efficiently.
We make sure raw materials stay in circulation. We sort demolition materials as the work progresses and maximise the recovery rate, bringing it as close to 100% as possible.
A successful demolition job ends with thorough paperwork. We report waste management details accurately and submit the necessary notifications to the authorities.
Industrial maintenance outages – maintenance and repair work carried out during a precisely scheduled production shutdown in an industrial environment – often begin with demolition work. During an outage, several elements, such as structures, equipment and process lines, can be dismantled at the same time as other work is carried out.
Demolition carried out as outage work is one of the most demanding forms of demolition, as every stage of the work has to follow a precise plan and schedule. Even a small delay in one stage of an outage can set off a chain reaction, delaying the following stages and, at worst, the completion of the entire project. A missed schedule can lead to significant additional costs as the production shutdown drags on, and the financial losses can be considerable.
Our strong expertise, our experience of the most challenging maintenance outages in Finland and our excellent project management capabilities make us a reliable choice for industrial maintenance outages. We prepare for a maintenance outage by carefully planning in advance the stages of the work, the demolition techniques and tools to be used, the schedule and the phasing of the work. In addition to a comprehensive and versatile machinery fleet, we reserve standby equipment and equipment servicing for the site, because delays are not an option for us, even when unexpected breakdowns occur.
Contact us in whatever way suits you best and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Our experienced project managers are there to support you, even if your demolition project is still on the drawing board.

Our Massive Force is built on our top-class equipment and decades of expertise. We demolish even the largest structures in a controlled way, as if they were Lego bricks.
There’s nothing magical about our risk management – it’s based on careful anticipation and nearly 40 years of experience in challenging working environments. We spot risks before they arise and ensure safety on every project.
Safety is our number one priority. We don’t have an invisible force field, but our commitment to health and safety ensures that everyone on site and in the surrounding area stays safe.
We can’t control time, but we arrive at lightning speed and work whenever you need us. We demolish in record time, even round the clock, if it means we can spare you the costs of a production stoppage.
In every demolition material, we see the raw material of the future. We maximise the recycling rates of our demolition projects to nearly 100%.
We became demolition contractors, not bankers – but we handle materials worth millions as if they were our own. Everything of value stays safe throughout our projects.
