Oil boiler moving and rigging
We prepared the oil boiler in Savon Voima’s building for moving and rigging, then moved it out intact so that it could be reused.
Rapid help in industrial crisis situations
Unexpected accidents can happen in industrial environments, and they require immediate action. A fire, an explosion or a breakdown of production equipment can cause serious hazards and bring production to a halt.
Crises can happen at any time, and they call for a fast, professional response. We have extensive experience of emergency response work at difficult times too – for example, we have headed out to deal with accidents on public holidays. Our job is to get to the site quickly, assess the situation and carry out the necessary demolition work safely and efficiently.
“Normally, demolition projects require careful preparation before the work starts. In emergencies, however, it’s the other way round – when we get the call, we head to the site straight away. In these situations, our workers’ ability to make quick, independent decisions comes to the fore, because every crisis is unique. The tools and equipment needed are often put together on the way to the scene, based on the information received over the phone,” says Umacon Project Manager Marko Vänskä.
Our emergency response begins with an immediate assessment of the situation, in which our experts evaluate the extent of the damage and its impact on production and the surrounding production environment. Based on the assessment, an action plan is drawn up, setting out the stages of the demolition work and other arrangements.
Accidents in industrial environments are extremely costly, not only because of the direct damage but also because of the losses caused by production stoppages. In an emergency, our aim is not only to repair the damage but also to prevent further damage from occurring. We also take care of handling the demolition materials and cleaning the production facilities, so that production can resume as soon as possible.
Contact us in whatever way suits you best and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Our experienced project managers are there to support you, even if your demolition project is still on the drawing board.

There’s nothing magical about our risk management – it’s based on careful anticipation and nearly 40 years of experience in challenging working environments. We spot risks before they arise and ensure safety on every project.
Safety is our number one priority. We don’t have an invisible force field, but our commitment to health and safety ensures that everyone on site and in the surrounding area stays safe.
We can’t control time, but we arrive at lightning speed and work whenever you need us. We demolish in record time, even round the clock, if it means we can spare you the costs of a production stoppage.
